Hippocrates of Kos – “The Father of Medicine and Health” created the Hippocratic Oath 2.500 Years ago. Time for us to re-invent the Hippocratic Oath as “Global Hippocratic Health Captains Oath” towards 360º Next Generation Lifecare in an more complex technological Medical World where the Medical Doctors are anymore in the Center of the medical Leadership Monopoly. Sustainable Medicine for sustainable Health can only succeed in multi-professional, multi-stakeholder Leadership Teams. The professional spectrum and the Next Generation Leadership and Next Generation Talents must be included to create a yearly renewed version of the Hippocratic Oath for us all together like an Software Update – not in the literal sense, but as an annual medical-ethical reflection of the international medical leadership and mentorship for the next generation to pass on knowledge for the leadership of medicine.

The Hippocratic Forum on the Doctors Island Kos is held once a year the Weekend together with the Monday of the yearly announcement of the Nobel Prize for Physology or Medicine always on the first Monday in October just before the World Health Summit in Berlin starting the second Sunday in October with Participants form over 100 Nations.

The Forum is organized by the Faculty of  THE HEALTH CAPTAINS INSTTUTE – Institute for Strategy Studies for University & Academic Medical Center and Health Foundations – and the TALENT-CHAPTERS of THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB.
