THE HEALTH CAPTAINS HIPPOCRATIC OATH FORUM ON KOS ISLAND 

The Turning Point in medicine from “Sickcare” (disease-reactive Healthcare) of the last decades to “Lifecare” (lifelong healthcare to maintain and extend the Healthspan for everyone with an extension of the lifespan as a side effect, not as a goal, and a sustainable Wealthspan that towers over the Lifespan) is constantly being fueled by new scientific findings, new innovations, new technologies, new start-ups, new minds with new ideas and strategies and new health policies:

This requires an expanded, solid medical ethical updated Hippocratic Value Framework in order to be able to exchange medical data between synchronized value systems for the benefit of Patients to expanded the Healthspan for All, Health Sciences, Health Industry and Civil Society, on the basis of a common set of values.

In this sense, THE HEALTH CAPTAINS ALLIANCE strives to transfer the historic Hippocratic oath into a Health Captains Hippocratic Oath that does justice to the state of the art in science, medicine and technology and that is binding not only for Medical Doctors, but for all those working for human health. Without such a value system, the transformation from “sickcare” to “lifecare” will not succeed.
