OVERVIEW

THE HEALTH CAPTAINS INSTITUTE is the strategic Think & Do Tank of THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB, designed to drive system-level transformation in healthcare through high-impact research, policy innovation, and cross-sector collaboration. Its core mission is to advance sustainable medicine for sustainable health by building bridges between science, care delivery, governance, and entrepreneurship across Europe and beyond.

Structured around four strategic pillars, the Institute focuses on:

1. Strategy Studies for University & Academic Medical Centers and Health Foundations;

2. Sustainable Medicine as a competitive regional development factor;

3. Convergence of value-based Healthcare, Healthy Longevity, Blue Zones, One Health towards Lifecare

4. Synchronization of regional, national, and international initiatives into a unified Lifecare Vision.

Operating through five expert-led divisions—Business Development, Strategy, Competitive, Convergence, and Synchronization Studies—the Institute convenes a transdisciplinary faculty, policy makers, innovators, and industry leaders to foster actionable insights and scalable solutions. Through its Ambassador and Affiliate Programs, it builds an open European knowledge ecosystem aligned with the goals of THE HEALTH CAPTAINS COLLEGE and the wider Community of THE HEALTH CAPTAINS CLUB.

The Appointment Committee for the 50 Members of the College-Faculty and the College-President consists of the Chairpersons of the Board of Trustees, the Medical Board, the Advisory Board and is chaired by the Club’s President and Club`s Secretary General..
